This Dhs200 million boutique hotel was built as part of an Emirati conservation project spearheaded by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq). Al Bait, which for non-Arabic speakers means ‘home’, has 53 luxury rooms and suites, plus food and beverage venues, a hammam, helipad and a fleet of 2019 Mercedes, including a 1967 Mercedes Pullman limousine. The resort is also home to a museum and a library that archives Sharjah’s history.
