Third term school fees waived for schools run by Sharjah's City for Humanitarian Services

Parents with children in schools run by Sharjah's City for Humanitarian Services will not have to pay any fees for the third term at school this year, it has been announced.

Sheikha Jamila bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director-General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, made the announcement on the Sharjah Media Twitter account on the evening of March 24.

The information was also shared on the @Scuae Twitter account.

The fees have not been waived for all schools in Sharjah, as previously reported.

Schools and universities have been closed across the UAE since March 8, and are set to remain closed for four weeks. During this time they are set to be deep-cleaned.

Since then, kids across the UAE have been homeschooled, with the support of educational websites.
