Sharjah Cooperative Society to launch grocery shopping app

Sharjah Cooperative Society is set to launch a grocery shopping app.

The service, which will deliver items across Sharjah between 8am and midnight daily, is set to launch in June 2021.

Sharjah Asset Management (SAM) will have 40 vehicles delivering items on behalf of Sharjah Cooperative Society shoppers, but this will increase depending on demand.

The app will be available on both the Apple and Google Play app stores.

You’ll be able to shop, pay, and request other services from the Sharjah Cooperative Society through the app.

You’ll also be able to collect membership points while shopping online.

Currently, supermarkets across the UAE are allowed to stay open 24 hours a day

The measure is to ensure all residents have access to sufficient supplies while self-isolating at home.

The 24/7 policy extends to cooperative societies, grocery stores, supermarkets and pharmacies.
